Plastic mold processing is a kind of processing technology. After its production or completion, there will be some defects. How to solve this situation? Below we will discuss two of the more common ones.
The causes of dents are:
(1) Insufficient cooling of the mold and insufficient cooling time will cause serious deformation.
(2) This will also occur if the internal pressure of the mold is insufficient.
(3) The thickness of each part of the product is different. In this case, the overall treatment method: reduce the temperature of the barrel and the mold, and strengthen the place where the dent is generated
(4), product whitening, the reasons for product whitening are as follows.
(5), Excessive compliance pressure.
(6), poor demoulding, in this case, the overall treatment method: when designing plastic molds, pay attention to the sufficient slope of demoulding. When making molds, ensure that the cavity of the mold is kept clean and real The treatment should drop the injection pressure immediately.
There are still many kinds of bad phenomena in the plastic mold processing process. I hope everyone will be careful and strive to make the most perfect work in the process of operation. Workaround:
1. Immediate: increase the injection pressure, prolong the injection pressure holding time, reduce the temperature of the barrel and the mold, and force cooling in the place where the dent is generated.
2. Short-term: fill the flow edge where the dent is generated. When there is a narrow place through the edge of the material where the dent is generated, make the edge thicker.
3. Long-term: The difference in thickness of design products should be completely avoided. Reinforcing ribs that are prone to dents should be as short as possible.
When the temperature is lowered to the point where dents do not occur, if there is still pressure in the material in the cavity, it should be considered that dents will not occur. The pressure of the material surrounding the mold in the mold, the static pressure, is not constant anywhere. The pressure near the gate is high. If the material has a wide open side, the pressure difference between the gate and the place far from the gate is very small compared to the overall pressure due to the pressure transmission to all corners, and no concave will be generated. It is possible to obtain a product with no residual internal stress. When some materials flow into difficult places, there is a high pressure in this place, and the pressure in other places decreases, which will cause dents. The residual high pressure in this part means that the internal stress of the product is also large. In an ideal state, the temperature of the material increases with the temperature of the mold, the fluidity of the material is better, and the injection also becomes bottom in the static pressure state.
